Dima Abu-Aridah is a Jordanian architect and a doctoral candidate at Penn State's Stuckeman School of Architecture. Recognized for her research on the design and spatial dynamics of refugee camps, Dima's work focuses on how displaced individuals reshape their environments to foster a sense of community and belonging. Her PhD dissertation, "Who Designs the Camp? The Spatial Reproduction of Refugee Camps," explores the interplay between spatial planning of camp spaces and the human ingenuity of refugees in adapting these spaces. Dima has been honored with Penn State’s Graduate School’s Alumni Association Dissertation Award in 2023 and the Graduate Student International Research Award in 2024 for her innovative contributions to understanding the intersection of design and displacement. İtalya, Yunanistan, Türkiye ve İspanya'da çeşitli masterclass’lara katıldı. Lise yıllarında Türkiye'de 30'dan fazla konser verdi ve üniversite yıllarında İtalya'da 50'den fazla klasik müzik konseri verdi. Bazılarında baş çellist, bazılarında ise orkestra içinde yer alarak çeşitli klasik müzik ve caz orkestralarında çaldı. Çeşitli televizyon kanallarında yer aldı.Adasu, farklı müzik türlerini viyolonselle buluşturmayı hedeflemektedir. Viyolonsel çalarak, pop-caz ve Türk halk müziği söylemektedir. 2023 yılında başladığı Yüksek Lisans programı, ve evrensel müzik ile yerel müzik arasındaki yolculuğu sırasında, solist ve çello sanatçısı olarak etkinliklerde yer almaya devam ederken, aynı zamanda önemsediği toplumsal sorunları yansıtan kendi müziğini bestelemektedir. Yoksulluğun ortadan kaldırılması, adaletin sağlanması ve toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği konularında da söz ve beste çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
