Kalpana Ramesh is a renowned water conservationist and environmentalist in Hyderabad, India. Often referred to as the "Water Warrior," she is the driving force behind several innovative initiatives to restore lakes, improve groundwater recharge, and promote sustainable water management practices. As the founder of the Rainwater Project, Kalpana advocates for rejuvenating urban water bodies and adopting rainwater harvesting in homes and communities. In this TED talk, she presents a superblock model to preserve water underground and rejuvenate the resources.
