- 18:01How AI is Changing Schools and Our Lives | Radovan Lupták | TEDxTrencinDo you remember the last time you asked, 'When will I ever need this?' Millions of students are grappling with the same question today. Learning about artificial intelligence isn’t just about technology—it’s about shifting from being passive users to active creators. AI has the potential to transform our lives and careers, and how we choose to embrace this technology will shape our future. Let’s prepare children for a world where they’ll need to creatively solve problems with the help of AI. We’re on the brink of a new era in education—let’s make the most of it! Radovan Lupták is a lecturer for the organization AI dětem (www.aidetem.cz) and holds degrees in knowledge engineering/IT from CTU and pedagogy. His passion for combining technology with education, along with his experience in software development and project management, enables him to innovate teaching methods. As a teacher and guide in the world of computer science and artificial intelligence (Scratch, micro:bit, LEGO robotics, ML4Kids), he prepares children for life in a rapidly changing digital world. He emphasizes critical thinking and strives to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for learning and play. - 16:11Emotional sustainability | Michal Matloň | TEDxTrencinWhat does sustainable architecture mean from the perspective of people and human emotions? The things we build today (and those built in the 20th century) are not particularly liked by most people, and they don’t form an emotional connection with them. If we want to build things that people will protect and cherish for 500 years, we need to turn to psychological insights on how to make them “emotionally sustainable.” Michal is an architectural psychologist who helps create spaces for a good life and meaningful work, from offices to urban districts. In the past, he worked for one of the largest European office developers and a consulting firm founded by cognitive scientists from the University of Vienna. Michal is also the co-founder of the Venetian Letter newsletter, which focuses on human-centered and science-based architecture and urbanism.
