General Entertainment Authority wins Guinness World Record for largest honorary shield

RIYADH — The General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Riyadh Season, and Joy Festival 2025 have been recognized by Guinness World Records for creating the largest honorary shield in the world. Standing at an impressive height of 15.13 meters, the shield represents a new milestone in the GEA's record of global achievements.
The monumental shield was prominently displayed in front of the Joy Awards ceremony venue, symbolizing this remarkable accomplishment. The official Guinness World Records certificate was presented to the authority during the conclusion of the ceremony, which was held on Saturday at ANB Arena. The event was attended by a host of prominent Saudi, Arab, and international artistic figures and took place in a dazzling festive atmosphere.
This recognition highlights the GEA's continued success in achieving world records across various fields of entertainment and creativity. The authority’s consistent presence in Guinness World Records underscores its global leadership and reinforces the Kingdom’s position as a hub of excellence and inspiration in the entertainment sector, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
