Islamic Affairs Minister inaugurates shade project at Namira Mosque courtyards

MAKKAH — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh inaugurated on Friday the backyard shade project at Namira Mosque, which includes 19 structural canopies.
Dr. Al-Sheikh highlighted the importance of studying the completion of the project to prepare and cool the surrounding courtyards with modern cooling systems and expanding the pilgrim water provision project by adding more chilled water units in and around the mosque.
The efforts come within the ministry's continuous development plan to provide the best services in the mosques of the holy sites, in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership, and in an endeavor to provide everything that would bring comfort to the pilgrims and enable them to perform their rituals in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
