Saudi Arabia on Sunday welcomed the announcement of the formation of a new government in Syria, expressing hope that it will fulfill the aspirations of the Syrian people.In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Kingdom looks forward to working with the new Syrian government in a way that reflects the deep-rooted and brotherly relations between the two countries.
The ministry affirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Syria across all fields and extended its best wishes to the new government for success in achieving security, stability, and prosperity for the Syrian people.
