RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani has visited the headquarters of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) in The Hague, Netherlands.
During the visit, Al-Samaani met with Secretary General of the Conference Christophe Bernasconi. They discussed strengthening cooperation between the Saudi Ministry of Justice and the HCCH in areas related to justice.
Al-Samaani emphasized the significant advancements in the Kingdom's judicial and legal landscape. He attributed these remarkable developments to the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and the oversight of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to honoring all agreements and treaties it has signed with international organizations and foreign governments, following the completion of necessary regulatory procedures.
The minister also emphasized the impartiality of Saudi Arabia’s judicial system, noting that legal rulings are based on the application of laws to the facts of each case. He stressed that the right to litigation is guaranteed to all individuals within the Kingdom, including both citizens and residents
