RIYADH — The General Department of Traffic has identified three main causes for traffic accidents in the Madinah Region in 2023.
According to the department, the use of handheld mobile devices while driving vehicles was found as the main cause of traffic accidents in the region, followed by sudden road lane changes and failing to maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
The department urged all motorists in the Kingdom to comply with traffic laws and road safety regulations without any failure.
