Crown Prince welcomes Trump with official ceremony at Al-Yamamah Palace

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received US President Donald Trump on Tuesday with an official welcome ceremony at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, marking a key moment in Trump’s second term firs overseas trip.Trump, who arrived in the Saudi capital earlier in the day, was greeted by the Crown Prince at King Khalid International Airport before being escorted to the royal court for formal talks and a state luncheon.
The arrival ceremony featured a traditional Saudi welcome, including a cavalry escort and trumpet fanfare.
The national anthems of the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were played as Trump and the Crown Prince reviewed the honor guard.
Following the ceremony, the Crown Prince accompanied President Trump to the main reception hall, where they drank Saudi coffee and exchanged greetings with senior Saudi officials and members of the US delegation.
The Crown Prince later hosted a formal luncheon in honor of the US president.
The reception was attended by a wide array of Saudi royal family members, ministers, senior government officials, business leaders, and diplomats, including Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, Ambassador to the US Princess Reema bint Bandar, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
President Trump’s visit is expected to include high-level discussions on regional security, economic cooperation, energy policy, and defense.
