The Anatomy of Calm | Saara Dalal | TEDxFountainhead School

What if staying calm wasn’t just a mindset but a science? In this talk, we break down the anatomy of calm—exploring how our brain, body, and habits work together to create inner peace. Discover simple yet powerful techniques to master calmness in any situation! I am Saara Dalal, a passionate Biology student and basketball player. Two years ago, I got my first panic attack. I didn't know what to do and how I should take care of myself. People around me were concerned but no one then realised what I was going through. That is when I realised the need for advocating for panic attacks and the need to talk about mental health. We often overlook our food habits, and do not pay attention to what is triggering our anxiety. My talk sheds light on how we can cultivate better mental health. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
