Da Conoscenza a CO-SCIENZA: La Trasformazione Necessaria | Rossano Ercolini | TEDxFrosinone
Viviamo un'epoca di sfide globali, spesso avvertite ma raramente definite con la lucidità necessaria. Il Professor Rossano Ercolini ci offre una chiave di lettura essenziale, identificando due emergenze interconnesse: la profonda crisi ambientale, caratterizzata dalla drammatica perdita di biodiversità e da un consumo di risorse che non può più essere sostenuto, e la crescente scarsità di "metalli critici", elementi indispensabili per il funzionamento della tecnologia moderna e per la transizione energetica.
Ercolini analizza con occhio critico il modello lineare di "progresso" che ha dominato finora, basato sull'estrazione continua di risorse e sulla loro inevitabile trasformazione in rifiuti. A questo approccio insostenibile, contrappone la saggezza intrinseca dei cicli naturali, dove nulla viene sprecato. La sua analisi illuminante mette in luce la nostra crescente dipendenza dalle materie prime e il ruolo cruciale che l'Europa può e deve giocare in questo scenario.
La vitale importanza dell'Economia Circolare emerge come l'unica via percorribile per innescare una nuova era rigenerativa, dove i rifiuti diventano risorse e i cicli si chiudono. Con passione e una solida base scientifica, il Professor Ercolini ci sprona a trasformare la conoscenza in CO-SCIENZA, in vista di un progetto di cambiamento radicale dove la transizione ecologica non è più un'opzione, ma l'unica strada da intraprendere.
Nonostante la sensazione individuale di essere "poca cosa" di fronte a sfide così grandi, Ercolini ci ricorda che è solo insieme che possiamo vivere il cambiamento non come una minaccia, ma come una straordinaria occasione per creare nuova energia e un futuro più sostenibile. Baldini+Castoldi (2024).Ha ricevuto nel 2013 a San Francisco il Goldman Environmental Prize (Nobel alternativo per l'ambiente), nel 2015 il “Premio Nazionale Paolo Borsellino” per il suo impegno civile e nel 2022 è stato insignito del ruolo di Ambasciatore del Tartufo Bianco nel mondo dalla Fondazione Promozione San Miniato (PI).Citazione: "Noi siamo oceano".
