Africa2Moon: Africa's first lunar mission | Adriana Marais | TEDxYuehai St Salon

This is the story of the journey from Africa to the Moon told by Dr Adriana Marais, Head of Science for the Africa2Moon mission, celebrating her friend and collaborator soon-to-be Dr Carla Sharpe Mitchell, the Mission Director and creator of the project.Africa2Moon is a radio telescope currently in the running to become Africa's first lunar mission, aiming to perform first-time science not possible from Earth. Africa2Moon is not just about making new discoveries, demonstrating novel technology and the power of collaboration, it's also about inspiring the next generation of dreamers.
