How a muralist views the city as a canvas | Angela Ferreira | TEDxUNICATT

Portuguese artist and muralist Kruella d’Enfer shares her journey from graffiti beginnings to international street art festivals. Her vibrant murals bring color to neglected neighborhoods, turning walls into spaces for dialogue, inclusion, and collective memory. Angela Ferreira, known as Kruella d'Enfer, is a Portuguese visual artist and illustrator born in 1988 near Tondela. His creative universe is populated by mythical and benevolent creatures, such as magical foxes and mystical wolves, who evoke ancestral legends through vibrant colors and geometric shapes. Active since 2010, she has exhibited in personal and collective exhibitions in Europe and Asia, participating in street art festivals such as MURALIZA and BUCKRUK. Her work ranges from large-scale murals to works on canvas and paper, demonstrating a versatility that has led her to collaborate with international brands such as Nike, Heineken and Vodafone. Kruella d'Enfer aims to leave a distinctive imprint in the cities and communities with which it interacts, transforming urban spaces into visual narratives that blend fantasy with everyday life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
