Why Hostile Architecture is dehumanizing | Edwin Pegelow | TEDxNTI Johanneberg Youth

During my speech, I presented numerous arguments for why hostile architecture is used in cities to push away the most vulnerable people. This is due to cities prioritising satisfaction for the average citizen, and not everyone. Hello! My name is Edwin, and I come from a small town outside of Gothenburg. In my free time, I like to read, exercise and watch Football! I got my topic from a classmate who did a similar presentation to mine. Ever since then, I’ve been interested in exploring the topic further and spreading awareness about hostile architecture. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
