Building Bridges: Integrating Architecture, Nature, and Heritage | Amine Hasni | TEDxPasha Street

In his TEDxPasha Street talk, architect and educator Amine Hasni explores the convergence of architecture, art, and cultural heritage. Drawing from his extensive experience, including founding Domaine Sainte Marie du Zit—an initiative blending art, architecture, and sensory experiences to reconnect individuals with nature and life—Hasni discusses how evidence-based design can preserve and celebrate cultural identity. Amine Hasni is a Tunisian architect and educator whose work seamlessly integrates architecture, agriculture, and ecology. Born in 1979 in the Medina of Tunis, he earned his architecture diploma from the Technological Institute of Art, Architecture, and Urbanism in 2002. Amine served as a faculty member at the National School of Architecture of Sidi Bou Said, contributing significantly to architectural education. In 2009, he established Domaine Sainte Marie du Zit, an agricultural estate nestled between Zaghouan and Mornag, transforming it into a personal workshop that embodies his commitment to reconnecting with nature through art and architecture. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
