Preoccupazioni simili sono state espresse da altre autorità nel settore, da Gates a Hassabis. Altri esperti ribattono che l’AI non sarà mai un problema di per sé, ma solo per i cattivi usi che possiamo farne noi, perché non sarà mai in grado di comprendere ciò che fa: insomma nessuna macchina sarà mai veramente intelligente. Chi ha ragione? Professore ordinario di Filosofia morale a Roma Tre e Visiting professor alla Tufts University di Boston. Già Fulbright fellow a Harvard, Visiting scholar al MIT e presidente della Società Italiana di Filosofia Analitica, è presidente della Società Italiana di Filosofia Morale, esecutore letterario di Hilary Putnam, membro del direttivo della International Federation of Philosophical Societies e Associate editor del Journal of the American Philosophical Association.
