Ismael Martínez Ramos, obtuvo el título de Doctor en el Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica Óptica y Electrónica. Es miembro del sistema de investigadoras e investigadores del estado de Puebla. Senior Member del Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), actualmente coordinador de Desarrollo de membresía del IEEE consejo México y Presidente del grupo de afinidad Young Professionals en la sección Puebla de IEEE. Profesor universitario en las áreas de ingeniería e investigación. Su campo de interés es: crioelectrónica, hardware de instrumentación criogénica, sistemas de detección de radiación y semiconductores.
