How to Hack Joy (and Why You Should) | Dr Emma Fallows | TEDxUniversityofStaffordshire

What if joy wasn’t just a fleeting feeling but a skill you could practice, cultivate, and share? In this uplifting and delightfully honest talk, Emma shows us how small choices, bold optimism, and a touch of playfulness can rewire our lives for happiness. From manifesting candy carts to dancing in the rain, she reminds us that joy isn’t something we find - it’s something we make. Dr Emma Fallows is a Games Art Lecturer at University of Staffordshire, a Women in Games Ambassador, and a recent PhD graduate in Games and Visual Effects. Her research focused on Virtual Reality and Haptics, creating an innovative interactive museum experience to enhance ceramic displays. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
