Diplomatosi in flauto a 17 anni, ha proseguito gli studi con flautisti di fama internazionale conseguendo la laurea presso l'istituto musicale pareggiato "Vecchi - Tonelli" di Modena. Si è perfezionato all'Accademia del Teatro Alla Scala e all'estero presso la Musik Hochschule di Friburgo e presso l'Haute Ecole de Musique di Ginevra. Vincitore di numerosi concorsi, svolge un'intensa attività concertistica come solista e in diverse formazioni da camera. Attualmente fa parte dell’Ensemble Progetto Pierrot, dell’Insubria Chamber Orchestra e dell’Ensemble Pecelli.
