The Longevity Revolution | Kornbongkoj (Baikaew) Thanbancha | TEDxHarrow Intl School Bangkok

Living longer starts now. This talk explores why young people should care about their health today to thrive tomorrow. Now 17, Baikaew has a unique perspective growing up in a hospital, witnessing life, death and everything in between. A deep connectedness to human life leads her direction in medicine, neuroscience and health. Her passions are in art, writing and music and is a guest singer with the National Symphony Orchestra. ‘Uplift,’ the charity group she started, reaching healthcare, less privileged children and our environment, having made an appearance on national broadcasting of thailand. Her poetry collection ‘Inside out and Outside in’ explores the human experience with both an artistic and scientific twist. She finds purpose in healthcare and exploring the infiniteness of the arts and beyond. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
