Ira Khan delves into the silent forces shaping our world: mental health, loneliness, and the digital age. She challenges both leaders and individuals to move beyond care toward proactive empowerment, bridging the gap between research and real-life impact. The key? Emotional hygiene and sincere action Ira is a Suicide Prevention Gatekeeping Instructor and a HAP counsellor. She runs a startup called Agatsu, where she leads sessions on Emotional Hygiene, their primary proposal to society. She is also on the Steering Council of IMHA. Ira is a passionate advocate of mental wellbeing, furthering the cause through talks, panel discussions and podcasts. She recognizes that human beings themselves are humanity’s greatest enemies when they are busying themselves not being its champions. Her work is her invitation to everyone to confront the unknown within and find their own truth. Özgentürk started his career as a reporter in Günaydın Newspaper’s Izmir office and continued his career in Sabah Newspaper in Istanbul. During his journalism studies, he traveled all over Anatolia, observed many political leaders and political events and wrote interviews. He was a war reporter in Romania, Abkhazia and during the Gulf War. We first heard his name as a journalist. He started writing columns in Sabah Newspaper in 1990 and his interviews made a splash. He would write interesting portraits and interviews on the page reserved for him in Sabah Newspaper. His columns were collected into books over the years under the titles Bir Yudum İnsan, Unutulmayanlar, Yıllar and Yüzler.
