Learning to Put the Toilet Seat Down | Harshveer Jain | TEDxMICA

Harshveer Jain takes a sharp, witty look at patriarchy, personal growth, and why feminism matters—without the extremes. Through self-reflection, history, and humor, he breaks down gender misconceptions and asks a simple yet powerful question: Why not choose change? Harshveer is an IIT Bombay and IIM Calcutta alum who has worked with Leo Burnett, Housing.com and Bain & Company. He has found great success with his startup in content marketing. His writing is driven by passion and people have deeply resonated with it. In his words, he tells stories he likes to experience, and everything else somehow falls in place. At the moment, he's working with the Government of Madhya Pradesh while working on his book with Penguin India among other things. He also has a strong presence on Instagram, where he is well-known as 'storysellercomics'. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
