How today’s youth can transform pain into power. Weaving together ancient wisdom, modern-day challenges, and real-life setbacks, the talk offers a raw reflection on resilience, hope, and bridging the generational gap in values and understanding.
From an emotional turning point at an NCC camp to insights on avoiding the ‘99 Club’ trap, the journey shared is both relatable and inspiring. With authenticity and heart, the message is clear: every lock has a key—even if it takes time to find it. Raksha J Iyer is a Grade 10 student at SSVM School of Excellence, known for her exceptional achievements across a variety of fields. Raksha won the Silver Medal in the Best Cadet Competition at the state level in the 2024 IGC RDC NCC and clinched a Gold Medal in the IGC Firing Competition. She earned 3rd place in the Battle of Bands Competition at the regional level. Additionally, she was honoured with an Honourable Delegate Award at the MUN Conference hosted by Alma College. Raksha has also participated in the Global Dance Festival in Colombo, Sri Lanka, organized by the Faculty of Art and Culture, London.
Beyond these accomplishments, Raksha is an avid explorer of the arts, dedicating herself to learning the Carnatic violin and Bharatanatyam, while also self-the ukulele. She is a passionate poet and storyteller, actively participating in creative competitions where she shares her unique narratives with the world. Because, remember, as Shashva says, the best time to innovate and grow, is now. Shashva Dedhia is a passionate student of Grade 9 at RWA. He enjoys learning and is always looking for opportunities to meet new people. He is a budding photographer, as well as being an avid reader and also working on paper-craft, namely quilling. He values his academics and his extra-curricular, which is why he practices badminton and cricket. His favorite subject areas include math, science, and history.
