Do you have a "fixed pie" mindset? | Bao Quyen Nguyen | TEDxBVIS HCMC Youth
Bao Quyen explores the negotiation concept of the "fixed pie" and how it applies to everyday life. In her talk, she challenges the traditional mindset of competition and scarcity, encouraging audiences to seek the missing pieces that allow them to "expand" their pie. Through thought-provoking insights, she emphasizes that life is not just about securing the biggest share but about discovering the unique "strawberries" that transform the experience as well as cherishing the ones we already have. With this perspective, Bao Quyen hopes to inspire others to reframe challenges, embrace creativity, and find new opportunities in their personal and professional journeys.
Bao Quyen (BQ) is a Year 11 individual from British Vietnamese International School, HCMC, who was inspired to explore the negotiation concept of the “fixed pie” and how it applies to everyday life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
