What if one device could change a life? | Monika Ly | TEDxYouth@CISPP

Monika discusses how technology can bridge the digital divide, especially for girls in underserved communities. Drawing on her experiences growing up in Phnom Penh with limited internet access, she advocates for educational equity and highlights the importance of connectivity. By urging the audience to use their devices and skills, she calls for collective action to empower everyone to reach their full potential. Monika is a Management Information Systems student at a University in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She began her technology journey in 2019 with an organization called Empowering Youth in Cambodia. Monika will discuss the impact of technology on her life and her passion for empowering women and communities in the technology sector. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
